What do I mean by “Beyond the Pretty?”

You will find me talking about going beyond the pretty often in my website and marketing. But what do I mean? I have been in the wedding industry since 2002 and have noticed in recent years businesses focus heavily on the aesthetics in their marketing. But neglect the strategy needed for growth. So I take clients beyond the “pretty” and into business planning instead.

I do this by reviewing the foundations of your business and creating a bespoke strategy for growth. Rest assured this will be aligned to your values and long term vision, we lead with integrity always. No more being forced to follow formulas that just don’t work for you.

Who do I work with?

I work with a range of businesses but primarily in the wedding and creative industries. A typical client is incredibly talented at what they do, their creativity and passion is beautiful to watch. But they struggle with choosing which idea to promote, which one will bring them joy and profit? Having ideas is never the issue, it’s which one to sell and what method to use.

They LOVE what they do and ADORE their clients. But being typical people pleasers they often over promise and over deliver to the detriment of their freedom and profitability.

My clients are often soul led, introverted entrepreneurs who are fabulously talented but struggle with what is needed in order to scale.

How does the Strategy Beyond the Pretty work?

This is for those clients really ready to up-level. It is intensive and I require commitment from you , I’ll be going all in and I expect clients to do the same. This is a very hands-on experience with ongoing 1:1 support from me, so if you’re ready to up-level your business and invest in some serious time and hard work, this is the perfect service for you.

• 2 hour on boarding call to delve into your business
• 8 x 1 hour zoom calls (bi-weekly)
• Concise report detailing the areas I feel we should work on to bring the results you desire
• Free access to any courses available
• Voxer support

How much access do I get from you?

Quite a lot. As well as our calls you have unlimited access to me on the voice note app voxer. This is perfect for instant answers to your questions. I am also around to review your goal setting, proof reading, giving advice. I get very involved with my clients. If however you wanted additional calls outside of the agreement this is an extra charge.

What if I want to carry on working with you?

This is not unusual. Many clients either book an intensive day with me once a year or go onto a maintenance package, which is monthly calls after our contract is finished.

How much time do I need to commit?

I suggest between 2-3 hours per week for calls and doing the work in between the calls. We have 2 x 1 hour calls per month but of course there will be “homework” to do in between.

What if I need to move a session?

I completely understand what it is like to run a seasonal business. I know sometimes your well planned schedule goes a little wrong. So yes if you can’t make a session I am happy to move it. I just ask for as much notice as possible. If you are wanting to move every session we will have a talk about your commitment.

I’m a wedding planner, can you train me?

Yes of course! Although I have now closed the UKAWP I am still able to train new wedding planners, a bespoke price will be determined after our initial discussion. Or can be weaved in with a 1:1 consultancy service.

Can you provide a tailored service?

Absolutely , if you need support but feel the services I offer don’t quite match your needs then I can create a bespoke offering for you instead. Lets jump on a call to decide how best I can support you.
